Join Jessica Garret, a Somerville resident, science educator and co-author of a kid's experiment book, "Oh Ick, 114 Science Experiments Guaranteed to Gross You Out!" for a hands-on STEAM program!
At West, we'll be making Cartesian Divers: Come make a fun toy (and magic trick to fool your family) while learning about air pressure and density! Bring an empty 1 or 2 liter clear plastic bottle if you can (like any soda or seltzer bottle with a tight screw-on cap - we'll have some on hand if you can't find one) . Prepare to get your clothes wet!
This program will take place downstairs in the Community Room (basement level).
