Q: What is STEAM Ahead? A: A free creative learning space to unleash your imagination through interactive building and fun science experiments.
*Every month our young scientists have a different theme to explore. Our sessions involve fun stations where they will work at their own pace with friends. A group collaboration (game/ activity) & a yummy science (snack) to end our time together.
THIS MONTH: ROOTS!
I'm so excited to announce that alongside of our learning of plants & human roots, we will be having a Mini Plant swap! This is a time where your scientists can bring in plants to swap with their friends. We will also be having a youth plant bingo where they can come and win a plant to take home!
We will have learning take home packets. If you would want to get a head start on the topics. We will be discussing Family Trees, genetics, heredity and inheritance. As well as plant cycles and roots in the ground.
We are hoping to have this event outside! Please wear play clothes as their will be hands on dirt involved.
