Steady Ground: Balance, Movement and Nervous System Awareness
About this Event
⚖️ Steady Ground: Balance, Movement & Nervous System Awareness ❤⚖️
A gentle, interactive workshop exploring balance in the body, mind and everyday life.
Join us in Hammersmith for a supportive and welcoming session designed to deepen our understanding of how balance shapes the way we move, feel and experience the world around us.
Together, we’ll explore the fascinating relationship between the body, the nervous system and the senses, discovering how they work together to create stability, coordination and confidence in daily life.
Through gentle movement, guided exploration and shared practice, we’ll learn practical ways to improve balance, develop greater body awareness and support nervous system regulation.
There’s no pressure to perform or get anything right.
You’re invited to explore at your own pace, stay curious, and take what feels useful for you.
Whether you’re interested in movement, wellbeing, nervous system awareness, or simply spending time in a supportive community environment, you’re welcome.
What the session includes
⚖️ Understanding Balance
Explore how the body, nervous system and senses work together to create balance, stability and awareness, both physically and mentally.
🚶 Gentle Movement
Through accessible movement and balance exercises, we’ll explore posture, coordination and the body’s natural ability to find steadiness and ease.
🌿 Nervous System Awareness
Discover practical ways to work with the nervous system, supporting greater calm, confidence and resilience in everyday life.
🤝 Connection & Co-Regulation
Experience how connection, presence and shared practice can help support nervous system regulation and create a greater sense of safety and ease.
After the practice
We will close the afternoon gently with tea, giving everyone time to land slowly, connect, and enjoy a moment of quiet community together.
This session forms part of our monthly Fiery Reset, a Sunday afternoon designed as a soft landing at the end of the week. A space to slow down, reconnect and be held in community.
We begin with Slow Flow, a grounding Yoga, breathwork and meditation practice to settle the body and steady the mind. This is followed by Steady Ground, an interactive workshop exploring balance, movement and nervouse system awareness.
Each session can be experienced on its own, or together as a gentle, complementary journey.
