Staying Connected with Your Teen

Research shows "... the single most important influence on the religious and spiritual lives of adolescents is their parents ... "

If you are the parent of a high school age teen, we invite you to join us at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Greenville, SC on Monday, Oct. 20 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm for Staying Connected. Cost is only $20 plus tax and that includes a potluch supper. (Program is for parents only; no teen attends.)

Staying Connected is a Family Honor program to help parents of high-school age teens better understand the teen brain, talk about the virtue of purity with your teen, and provide some key information and research on the important and irreplaceable role that you, as a parent, play in in your teen's life.

Our experienced Parent Presenters will discuss what the best way is to tackle tough issues with your emerging young adult AND keep the lines of healthy communication open.

We'll help you, as a parent, get better prepared to respond to your high-school teens' questions on topics relating to gender, same-sex attraction, dating, love, and more.

We frame these topics in a context that reflects:

• traditional Catholic Church teaching that takes into consideration your teen's developmental stage and ...
• your desire to have respectful conversations in your family.

Plus, we provide you with a great list of resources for follow up! Note that this program is for parents only. No teen attends.
