Welcome to the CSI's Inkwell In-Person Writing Session!

Are you ready to unleash your creativity? Whether you're new to writing or an experienced storyteller, the Inkwell Writing Sessions are a welcoming space for anyone looking to create. Join us to explore your passions—from journaling and poetry to writing novels, plays, songs, or even drawing and illustrating.

What You Can Expect:

• 🌐 Introductions: Start by sharing a little about yourself—where you’re from, your creative interests, and your current projects.
• 🖋️ Project Overview: Give a brief description of what you’re working on (e.g., “I’m illustrating a children’s book” or “I’m journaling about my travels”).
• ⏳ Focused Creative Time: Dive into your project for two hours of uninterrupted creativity. Write, draw, or plan—this is your time to focus.
• 🎉 Progress Sharing: In the last 15–20 minutes, share your accomplishments (optional). Celebrate your progress with others—whether it’s a word count, new pages, sketches, or ideas!

New to Writing or Drawing? ✨ No problem! Come as you are, bring what you have, and we’ll help you find your next steps. This is a pressure-free zone where encouragement thrives.

What Are We Creating? 🔸 There are no limits to what you can work on! From novels, poetry, and screenplays to journaling, legacy books for your family, or illustrations, this session is about nurturing your creativity. Sharing your work is always optional, and critiques are not a focus here.

What to Bring:

• 📓 A notebook, journal, or sketchpad for your creative work
• ✏️ Pens, pencils, markers, or drawing tools
• 💻 A laptop, tablet, or phone for digital projects

Where: Chick-fil-A, 3890 Pelham Rd., Greenville, SC 29615

When:

• 🔷 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesdays
• 🔷 2nd and 4th Thursdays

Schedule:

• 🍲 Dinner: 6:30–7:00 PM
• 🎨 Creative Session: 7:00–9:00 PM

Cost: Just purchase your meal and beverage at Chick-fil-A. Don’t forget to use the Chick-fil-A app to earn points toward free food and drinks!
