Welcome to the stay and play for home educating families in Harborne.
A fun relaxed stay and play session for all home educating families for children of all ages. Children to be supervised.
£2 per person (babies are free) to cover cost of use of the building, drinks, biscuits/snacks, sensory room, craft items etc
No need to book, just turn up. 🤩
🌟 We appreciate all the help in setting up and tidying away and we would appreciate some more help please. There is no expectation to help especially with having to look after your kids but please message me if you are able to help or talk to me on the day. We run monthly atm, we are hoping to run more frequently in the future (perhaps a Friday morning once a month as well) so all the help is greatly appreciated and needed 🌟
November Activity: decorating a home education community wreath to display with the other community groups wreaths at the church Christmas craft fair which you are all welcome to attend too. See facebook post for more information on the craft fair. You can decorate a wooden hanging slice and/or craft paper to draw/write ‘What do I love about Home education?’ To celebrate who we are as a group.
We will also have an activity of making a toy octopus out of wool (or any other creation you can make) and we can also make Pom Poms for yourself to use at home but also to decorate the wreath.
Please keep all glue, crafts items on the tables/tray provided.
Sensory room:
We will have use of the small sensory room for the entire session which is located off the main back hall. Please supervise your children in this room so they can feel relaxed, enjoy it and so it’s a safe calming place for children who this room is essential for (perhaps a safe calming place like the sensory room may be what helps to support some children to attend the stay and play).
