About this Event
We're heading to the National Cycling Centre to take part in the women's taster session on the Velodrome. Come ride with us to and from the iconic NCC!
Here's the details of the track session and what to expect:
"Come join us for an exciting afternoon of cycling at the National Cycling Centre. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner, this event is perfect for all skill levels. Get ready to pedal your way around the track and feel the rush of the wind in your hair.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to experience the thrill of cycling in a world-class facility. Mark your calendars for Thu March 6th 2025 arrive at 11.45 AM GMT and get ready to ride!
Grab your shoes, bike and helmet (all provided) and bring your enthusiasm with you, and we'll see you at the Velodrome!" - Ride Her Way, event organisers.
The session is highly subsidised to a very helpful £7 - you can pay by card at reception upon arrival
The Ride :
Meet : Station South benches at 10.50am
Depart: We'll leave prompty at 11am
Route : 100% off road, riders must be comfortable cycling in proximity to water.
Distance : 14km round trip
Upon arriving at the NCC, we can take our bikes inside and secure. We'll then grab our equipment from reception and join the other cyclists on the track from 11:45am.
After the session finishes at 1pm, we'll reunite with our bikes and return back to Station South, via the same route.

Friendly Notice! If you book on but for whatever reason cannot make it, we would appreciate as much notice as possible so we can open the ride back up to others waiting. You can cancel your place directly via EventBrite. Thank you.
Please make sure your bike is in a roadworthy condition + you are comfortable with the route and distance.
