This is a perfect time for families, schools, businesses, and churches to practice their tornado safety plans—just like it’s the real thing. Take a few minutes to:
➡️Go to your designated safe place (lowest level, interior room, away from windows).
➡️Review how you would shelter if you’re at home, work, school, or on the road.
➡️Check your NOAA Weather Radio, alert apps, and notification settings.
➡️Sirens and weather alerts may sound as part of the drill, but this is only a test and not an actual tornado warning.
