State of the Steelhead

Welcome to the State of the Steelhead event!

John Lenczewski, Executive Director of Minnesota Trout Unlimited (MNTU) and member of the MNDNR’s Lake Superior Advisory Group for 20+ years, will be with us to discuss the history of steelhead management and the current state of the fishery.

We will also discuss the management directions the DNR could take as it begins the process of updating the 2016-2025 Lake Superior Management Plan for the next 10-year period. We encourage you to attend our State of the Steelhead meeting to share your views with us, as MNTU develops it recommendations to the DNR.

We will be in Montague Hall, Room 70.
