On Thursday, September 11, 2025, 5:30 PM, we gather at the eBridge Center for Business and Commercialization, 1304 E Adams St, Brownsville, Texas. The evening closes with awards of up to $40,000 dollars in early stage funding.

SBIR and STTR are the country’s largest source of non‑dilutive R&D funding for small businesses. About the program

Startup Texas SBIR/STTR is a competitive, intensive eight week accelerator focused on proposal readiness, market validation, and financial planning. The accelerator utilizes the AdvanceUp Accelerator Curriculum built by the UTRGV Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Center. Seed funding and program support are provided through a partnership with the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation and the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station.
