This 2-hour class is designed for parents who want to feel informed and confident as their baby begins the transition to solid foods. Led by Bianca Wooden, board certified lactation consultant, this class supports the normal developmental process of babies learning to eat through exploration, curiosity, and skill-building.Topics covered include:
+ How to know when your baby is ready to start solid foods
+ Purées vs. baby-led weaning: what the difference and finding what works for your family.
+ Supporting your baby’s feeding and oral motor development, when to be concerned
+ Which foods are most important during the first year, where to start.
+ Food allergies and sensitivities, including rashes, eczema, and stool changes
+ Choosing the right cup, what to offer in it, and how to support drinking skills
This class is ideal for parents who want evidence-based guidance, practical tools, and reassurance as they support their baby in developing a healthy, positive relationship with food.
