Our Start Up Stars are...
Loredana Principessa, Mar-Co Digital
Loredana Principessa is the founder of MAR-CO Digital, a conversion strategy company that helps companies who are struggling to generate ROI from their lead generation campaigns, by improving the experience for their customers.
Before MAR-CO, Loredana worked in digital agencies for over 6 years in the UK and Australia, specialising in long and complex purchasing cycles such as the real estate sector.
Charlotte Dickinson, Minus Eyewear
Charlotte launched Minus Eyewear in June 2022 following support from the BIPC Leeds team, including accessing Mintel to research her market.
Minus Eyewear hopes to become the most inclusive eyewear brand and change the market for short sighted frames (or those with high prescription lenses), focusing on creating frames that fit the face and don't limit style
Lee Miller, GoWhoopies
GoWhoopies is a father and daughter start up bakery delivering their cake/cookie combos to markets and events across Leeds and West Yorkshire.
Lee and Bailey came up with Whoopies as a way to look after their wellbeing while Bailey was at home recovering from an operation. Now they are travelling across the region serving up Whoopies from their classic VW Camper.
