Start-Up Celebration Event

This special showcase event celebrates the remarkable achievements of participants who’ve accessed start-up advice through the Business Support Service at Liverpool City Council.

Taking place in the city centre, the event will bring together newly established entrepreneurs, local businesses, partners and supporters for an afternoon dedicated to innovation, resilience and opportunity. Our hosts will be Safe Regeneration and Merseyside Expanding Horizons, whose expert advisors have worked with many of our Liverpool residents at the start of their business journey.

At the heart of the celebration will be a vibrant “marketplace” of new enterprises, where programme participants will present their products, services and ideas. From creative start-ups to community-focused ventures, the marketplace will highlight the diverse talent and entrepreneurial spirit emerging across Liverpool.

The event will also create a valuable networking space—connecting new business owners with established companies, community leaders and potential collaborators. It offers an opportunity to build relationships, exchange ideas and strengthen the city’s growing ecosystem of enterprise.

We are delighted to mark the beginning of a new chapter for many aspiring entrepreneurs - by celebrating the achievements of these new businesses, we recognise the creativity, determination and diversity that continue to drive economic growth and community development throughout Liverpool.

This session is delivered through the Business Support Service at Liverpool City Council which provides fully-funded start-up support to Liverpool residents looking to create a new business and to businesses based in Liverpool. This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as the lead authority.

Please note this session is only for Liverpool residents looking to start a business, or early-stage businesses based in Liverpool . We reserve the right to cancel tickets for those not in these groups and those not based in the Liverpool local authority area. Confirmation of your place on this session will be provided as soon as possible after you register by a member of our team. We will share any joining instructions with all those eligible nearer the day of the session.
