Each month, we explore a new topic to help you build a strong foundation and expand your knowledge and skills in the arts.
This month, we’ll dive into the world of abstract art.
Students will learn why artists choose to work in an abstract fashion and how they use this style to communicate ideas and feelings through different mediums.
After discussion in the classroom, students will tour the galleries to see examples of abstract art and then return to the studio to create their own unique projects inspired by their thoughts and emotions.
Registration is required.
