START Business in North Karelia is an event intended for people with a foreign background (living in North Karelia) who are interested in starting a business.
The language of the event is English. After the presentations, participants will be divided into groups, with interpretation available in English, Arabic, and Russian.

9.00–9.10 Opening speech, Antti Toivanen, North Karelia Chamber of Commerce
9.10–9.40 Own story: Starting business in Finland, Gyöngyi Matray
9.40–9.50 Introducing group leaders, division into groups
9.50–10.50 Group discussions
10.50–11.00 Closing words, questions and answers (interpretation available in English, Arabic, and Russian)
After the group division, the groups will rotate between different discussion points. Interpreters will be available to assist during the discussions.
