At once dazzling and heart-wrenching, Handel’s rarely-heard Italian cantatas and chamber music have it all. “Magnetic” soprano Hannah De Priest soars in Silete venti and shines like the stars in excerpts from Apollo e Dafne. Brilliant instrumental works complete this all-Handel program.This Saturday, April 25th performance is at 4:00 pm at Heights Theater in Cleveland Heights. A pre-concert talk with esteemed historian Dr. Susan McClary will begin at 3:15 pm.
