Stars and Parks AdventureCelebrate America’s 250th anniversary in the heart of Libertyville.
Take a stroll through history while enjoying the beauty of Libertyville’s parks during this fun, interactive community adventure.
How It Works:
Use the Adventure Map to visit 16 engaging and fact-filled stations located throughout Libertyville.
At each station, discover fascinating historical facts, read along with a local STAR (AKA - community leader) and collect pieces of a secret code.
Crack the full code to earn a custom pin and entry into a raffle for an America 250 tote filled with 2027 Adler Pool passes, beach towels, books, local gift card and more.
Get Started:
Pick up your Adventure Map **STARTING JUNE 1** at Libertyville Recreation Office (870 Country Club Drive) or Cook Memorial Public Library District (413 N. Milwaukee Avenue).
Bring your friends, your family, and enjoy exploring Libertyville’s parks while celebrating 250 years of American history.
Return your completed Adventure Map to the Libertyville Recreation Office or Cook Memorial Public Library District to attain your pin and raffle ticket. One pin and one raffle ticket per person.
The adventure runs June 1 - July 31, 2026. Adventure Maps must be returned by end of business hours on July 31, 2026.
