Starry Night Northern Lights at Avondale Parks & Rec Winter Camp

Starry Night Northern Lights — a canvas class kids will want to hang up all winter
After the Christmas rush winds down, bring your young artist to this After-Christmas Winter Camp session and let them paint their own swirling night sky masterpiece — a dreamy scene of dancing aurora colors, a crescent moon, twinkling stars, and a row of whimsical, wind-swept evergreens dusted in snow.
Inspired by bold, swirling brushstroke styles, this class teaches kids how to blend deep purples, teals, and greens into a glowing sky, then layer in playful, curling trees and a peaceful snowy horizon. It's equal parts art lesson and wintery escape — perfect for kids coming off holiday sugar highs who need a calm, creative outlet before school starts back up.
Every child leaves with a finished canvas that's uniquely their own — no two skies swirl quite the same way — and a fun new technique or two tucked into their back pocket.
