Join Oxford’s beloved Starling Sessions for a joyful night of music and dancing at the Florence Park Community Centre on Sunday 11th MayStarling Sessions will kick off the evening with their trademark refusal to allow musical traditions to gather dust in archives, bringing instead an irresistible energy, infectious joy, and genre-defying arrangements to their globe-spanning material that is urgent and life-affirming.
After the concert, the night continues with a ceilidh from Oxford’s legendary Guerrilla Ceilidh. Caller Steph West will guide beginners and seasoned pros alike through traditional dances and, of course, as this is a Starlings evening you can expect an international twist to this British and Irish party tradition.
