About this Event

Industry Meets Academia Day 2025 (IMAD2025) will be held on Monday, 12 May 2025, from 11:00 to 14:30 at the University of Oxford. The event is organised by the Early Career Researchers (ECR) network of the Oxford ZERO Institute and aims to foster meaningful connections between academic researchers and industry professionals working towards net-zero and decarbonisation goals.

IMAD2025 provides researchers with a clearer understanding of industry needs, and offer industry professionals insight into innovative solutions to real-world challenges. The programme will include a keynote speech, presentations from industry and academic fellows, poster sessions, and lightning talks. The event will conclude with a panel Q&A discussion, designed to encourage idea exchange and collaboration.
