To book please phone 0274900775 or message.For intermediate upwards and competitive riders 8 years and over we have the Super Camp 2026 this camp will increase confidence and skills and extend comfort zones well developing friendships for life.
Camps are designed for children that own their own horses/ponies.
Camps are a fun event encouraging understanding of horse behaviour, horsemanship skills, rider development and independent seat, ultimately increasing the confidence and skills needed for all areas of riding.
If you are a Pony Club member and working on your certificates please bring along your card, some of your activities and lessons will mean I can sign them off as you achieve goals.
We also do many fun activities to help like partner dancing which is a awesome fun way to work together, develop body awareness, connection and rhythm. Enjoy swimming in the river with or without your pony, roasted marshmallows and the list goes on……..
Set on 90 acres of picturesque river flats that the Waipa river winds through and set amongst the trees with access to hills and miles of adventurous hacking , 60m x 40m arena plus cross country course means fun, excitement and confidence building for all levels.
Starlight Farm Super Camp………. What you need to know.
You must camp in your own float or tent.
You will need insect repellent and fly spray
We have made a list of other essentials for you to bring along with you, can you please add a packed lunch for the first day
• Changes of Riding Clothes and comfy farm clothes to get extra dirty in and warm clothes for relaxing in at night time.
• Wet weather gear, raincoat.
• Shopping bag for dirty clothes.
• Riding boots and gum boots/and or comfortable exploring shoes
• Sleeping bag and pillow, camping swab/stretcher to sleep on.
• Toiletries. Towels x 3. Swimwear
• Pony of course.
• Pony hard feed, hay, feed buckets. Enough feed for 3 to 4 days worth, two feeds a day.
• Riding gear such as, saddle, bridle, saddle blankets, whip, covers.
• Named water bottle.
• We always appreciate a plate of baking if you are able or some fruit/veges/staples.
Arrival time for Camp is between 10am – 10.30am on the first day, please bring a packed lunch for the first day. Pick up is between 3pm and 3.30pm on the last day. Payments can be made into account 02-0404-0104738-000 please reference your last name and camp date. Camp Cost is $450
