Multi-directional live programmed digital analogue electronic music producers *STARK* keep faith in the sound of the dirty techno underground. The origins of *STARK* can be traced back to the proto-techno pioneers Nitzer Ebb of whom David Gooday was a founder member, and Simon Granger who originally shaped the Nitzer Ebb aesthetic with Nitzerebbprodukt. With the help of friend Paul Fossett they established the digital label StarkFuturesRecordings and have nearly 40 releases so far.
*STARK* have played a select number of shows from their debut in Calais to Superfreq@Fabric and FUMP. It was only a matter of time before their electronic paths crossed with ***Giuseppe Morena***, one half of high-profile uber remixers Self Preservation Society (The Human League, Dave Stewart, Eternal, Dina Carroll, Quivver, Doug Lazy, Robert Owens, Alabama 3, Sunscreem, Empirion) who is currently working on various projects with Darren Emerson and fresh from playing a storming live revitalised acid techno set is revisiting his techno-house roots in a live intervention / collaboration with *STARK*.
