Join us for Stargazing In The Cemetery where you will learn the basics and get hands on with telescopes. We’ll be hosting this event in the atmospheric Samuel Worth Chapel where we’ll be serving cakes, hot drinks, wine, beer, and mulled cider and on the Cemetery green space where Sheffield Astronomical Society will have some of their telescopes set up for you to view the night sky.
The evening will consist of 2 talks and an opportunity to look through some of Sheffield Astronomical Societies amazing telescopes.
A chance to look at Jupiter, The Orion Nebula and some star clusters. There will be 2 sessions and each session will have 30 spaces.
With music from Sushi
In the event of bad weather we will have additional talks and music.
This event is for kids and adults (recommended age 8+). All children under 16 to be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are non refundable unless the event is cancelled by SGCT.
