🌕 Join us for a Stargazing Evening at Sunnydale Park!Come along to the cricket pitch to witness the Moon, the stars, and other celestial wonders lighting up the night sky.
🔴 Bring a red-filtered torch if you can—red light helps preserve your night vision much better than regular white torchlight. It allows your eyes to adjust and stay adapted to the darkness, so you don’t miss the spectacle above. It's also gentler on others' eyes and ensures a better shared experience for everyone.
🧥 Dress warmly, and remember: everyone is welcome! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
☁️ We won’t meet in the event of heavy clouds or rain.
💡 No red torch? No problem! You can easily make one:
- Use a rear bike light,
- Paint the lens of a torch with red nail varnish,
- Or cover the lens with red plastic and fasten it with an elastic band.
