Join Women in the Wild and the Oakoasis County Preserve teams and Astronomers from the San Diego Astronomy Association for an evening of hiking and stargazing. The evening starts off with a ranger-led twilight hike starting at 6:30 p.m. We will look for bats and scorpions on our way back to continue the evening with a view through SDAA's telescopes of the enchanting night sky.
Arrive early to get a good parking spot and face your lights away from the telescopes so when you leave you won't blind them.
Dress warmly and bring a flashlight. This event meets in the parking lot. Parking is free.
Cloud cover or inclement weather may cancel the stargazing.
