We'll start with a 1-hour basic Samba lesson taught by visiting instructor, Anne Haberern. Samba is the epitome of a Latin dance in which body movement, rather than a step pattern, is the primary marker of rhythmic musicality.After the lesson we'll continue with general dancing that includes all the ballroom dances plus many popular social dances such as: West Coast Swing, Salsa, Hustle, Nightclub 2-Step and Country 2-Step.
Join us on December 14th to get a good foundation in Samba. You'll find that it's the perfect fit for such gems as the Bee Gees "Stayin Alive" or Elvis Presley's "Latest Flame." These are just a few of the classic dance songs to which everybody wants to dance but few have the skills. Come on Saturday December 14th and be among the few.
