Star Wars Unlimited - Twilight of the Republic Store Showdown - JOHNS CREEK

Taking place a couple months after a new set releases, Store Showdowns are casual tournaments that award prizes for both participation and placement. This is the most competitive that Casual Play gets, but the focus is still on having fun and learning the game, making this phase the perfect opportunity for someone to dip their toe into the tournament scene!

Time: Registration - 12:00PM / Round 1 Start - 12:30PM

Format: Premier - Best of 3 - Since this is a casual tier event decklists are not required

Event will be a number of rounds of play based on overall number of participants. We will then do a top cut per the guidelines outlined in the Star Wars Unlimited tournament document.

Cost: $20 pre-registration / $25 day of event registration

NO REFUNDS ON ENTRY FEES 7 DAY OUT FROM THE EVENT DATE

Prizes: Participation promos sent with the event kit will be given out to the first 32 players to sign up for the event.

Top 8 will receive a number of copies of the seasons prize card based on their final standings per the event guidelines.
If the event gets at least 16 players signed up Level Up Games will offer a booster box of the set the event is themed around for every person in the top 4 cut. This prizing will extend to top 8 if the event gets 33 or more signed up participants.

Players not in the top cut who participate and complete all event rounds will receive 2 booster packs from the set the store showdown event is themed around at the end of the Swiss event rounds. If we do not reach at least 16 registered players every qualifying participant will receive 4 booster packs (top 8/non-top 8) at the end of the Swiss event rounds.

We may also have OP promo packs we can provide as well, but that will vary by location.
