May the force be with you in Star Shanties: Songs From a Galaxy Far, Far Away, a hilarious Star Wars-themed musical comedy.When a cargo ship called The Wretched Hive is stranded on a backwater system in the Outer Rim, its smuggler crew has no other recourse but to perform some of their favorite shanties for the locals to raise the credits for repairs. Featuring original characters and songs (including “Hondo Ohnaka,” “Old Man Thrawn” and “Hydian Way”), it’s a shanty showcase of galactic proportions.
Premiering at the Orlando Fringe Festival in 2022, this critically acclaimed production remains a darling of fringe festivals nationwide.
