Discover the park after dark in this two-part event!Join us for an evening under the stars as we explore the importance of dark night skies. Enjoy a guest presentation, participate in fun activities for kids, and end the evening stargazing through telescopes or with the naked eye!
At 6:00 PM, join lunar geologist Dr. Zachary Morse for a night sky presentation on the second floor of the former Anthony Hall, at 51 Mather Place.
If you have more time after or can’t attend until later, join us for the second part of this event. Head to Murphy-Chambers Farm, 123 Murphy Road, anytime from dusk - 9:00 PM for stargazing with the TriState Astronomers! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and dress for cool mountain nights. Please note that pets and alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
