Standup Paddle Boarding Open Water | Harbor Cove Beach to C Street Pier Loo

Join us for a fun adventurous Saturday open water paddling. Soft beach launch, no surf.

Meet at Harbor Cove Beach, 930am for a 10am launch. Be sure to be prompt as winds will be picking up. We should get a little W wind push home.

The water is cold, so I recommend some type of wetsuit if the air temp and water temp together are 120 or under.

Launching from Harbor Cove is a great place to beach launch if you have no experience launching in open water. This summer we will be at Mondo's and Solimar regularly, so learning to launch from a baby beach is great practice.

If you have never paddled in open water it takes a lot more strength, you should feel comfortable as we will just be tracking along the coastline.

The session will be 1-2 hours and is recommended for intermediate paddlers. Kayak or Paddle Board. It is about 3-4 miles total. Beginners are welcome, you will probably fall in, it will be tiring.

Afterward, we can grab lunch and listen to live music at Ventura Harbor.
