Standing Together for Children Affected by War and Conflict

Around the world, children are suffering the unimaginable consequences of war and armed conflict. From Europe to the Middle East and beyond, terror group and state-supported violence against civilians is wreaking havoc on the most vulnerable members of our societies - our children.

This fundraiser stems from our collective pain and outrage at witnessing the horrors of these conflicts, both near and far. In the face of such violence, we believe we cannot remain silent. It is time to act, to raise our voices, and to help those who need it most.

All proceeds from this event will go directly to Doctors Without Borders and Save the Children, two organizations that are on the frontlines providing essential care, education, and hope to children affected by war and conflict. While we will be supporting these charities, no formal cooperation exists between Startups Unite.

Innocent lives deserve safety, dignity, and a future free from violence. With your support, we can make a real difference.

Why We’re Fundraising: As we witness the ongoing devastation in conflict zones - whether in Gaza, Israel, Ukraine, Syria, and Sudan, or other regions of the world - we are moved to stand up against the violence. The images and news stories of children facing destruction, displacement, and trauma have inspired us to take action. We believe the international community must do more, and through this fundraiser, we aim to support those on the frontlines of relief and recovery efforts.

Event Highlights:

Keynotes and Panel Discussion: Representatives from Doctors Without Borders and Save the Children will share their on-the-ground experiences and the critical work they are doing to support children affected by war.

• Moving Musical Performances by local artists dedicated to peace.

Important Note: While registration for this event is free on EventBrite, we require a minimum donation of 35€ via the Startups Unite Betterplace.org page for entry. Please present your Betterplace donation email confirmation at the door. We recommend a donation of 100€ to help us maximize our impact.
