Mental Health First Aid is about learning how to notice when someone might be struggling, how to start a supportive conversation, and how to respond with care and confidence — without needing to be a professional.
Join Jodhi Gough for this two-day accredited Mental Health First Aid course that is practical, evidence-based, and grounded in real-world situations.
It’s suitable for community members, workplaces, parents, carers, volunteers, and anyone who wants to feel more confident supporting the mental health of others.
Across the two days, you’ll learn:
• How to recognise signs and symptoms of common mental health challenges;
• How to approach and support someone who may be experiencing distress or crisis;
• How to respond using the MHFA Action Plan;
• How to encourage professional help and self-care; and
• How to look after your own wellbeing while supporting others.
