Neighbors and friends,
Cart & Go was unanimously approved by the Planning & Zoning Board in August to open at 1219 Park Avenue — a building that has sat vacant for nearly 40 years. But at the September meeting, a board member who hadn’t even been present in August moved to bring the case back for reconsideration.
Now, on Thursday, October 2 at 10AM, our project is back before P&Z (Agenda Item PH-3). This means we’re forced to fight the same fight all over again, with new conditions being drafted behind the scenes, while we’re barred from submitting anything new.
This isn’t fairness. This isn’t due process. It’s a moving target that hurts small businesses, discourages investment, and wastes months of effort.
