Bengt Washburn is a self-proclaimed “unaccomplished Mormon.” Born into a small Mormon family (seven kids) and raised in a big Mormon town (pop. 1,000) in Utah, from ages nineteen to twenty-one, Bengt was a Mormon missionary. In 1998, Bengt decided to pursue stand-up comedy. By 2001 he won the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition. He’s been on the road as a full-time stand-up comedian ever since.
Bengt performed our first *ever* comedy show at Johnnie's Bar, waaaaaayyyyy back in 2007/08. We are always happy to have Bengt visit our stage!
