Stand Up for Refugees

We're hosting a night of stand-up comedy, showcasing some of the best talent of those from migration backgrounds, and raising money for those of forced migration backgrounds in the process! Join us for a night of laughter and support those seeking sanctuary at the same time.

  We're raising money for RETAS - Refugee Education Training and Advice service. A grassroots charity based in Harehills, helping support the integration of refugees, asylum seekers and other, vulnerable migrants. We do this in a number of ways, though education, advice and training opportunities, more specifically, through teaching English and digital skills, offering advice and guidance on housing, finances, benefit entitlement, access to employment and/or higher education as well as an inclusive volunteering programme.
