Out + Loud is coming to Leeds! Looking for a chill space to celebrate Pride and also love to support queer bookshops? Out + Loud is coming to Leeds for our first ever event in collaboration with The Bookish Type! Pride Unplugged aims to create a space for queer people to share creativity in a relaxed environment as an alternative to often overstimulating Pride events. To sign up to perform simply send us a message or email, there will also be a few spaces to sign up on the night if inspiration strikes. So whether you’re a poet, comedian, singer, or something else entirely, we’d love to have you perform with us!
The setup will be mic-free, so everything will be acoustic. The venue is accessible via a ramp with a bathroom down 13 steps and the event will be seated. There is a limited capacity so make sure to book in advance. Tickets are available on a sliding scale with a few free tickets available if cost would be a barrier.
