Join us FRIDAY May 15, 8PM in the Independent Comedy Club and enjoy stand-up comedy from Nicole Melnyk, Vivian Burgett, Lindy Tongol, and Amber Maeda!
Nicole Melnyk (she/her) Funniest, gayest, littlest biggest boy/girl in the state spreads joy as resistance. @mcfancyvonpants
Vivian Burgett (she/her) has performed her blend of dark and nerdy comedy all over Chicago and the area that many call Chicago’s largest suburb—the state of Michigan. In 2023, she started "Femme Feedback,” a popular open mic for female and trans comedians, which has drawn comedians from all over Michigan. @vivianburgettcomedy
Lindy Tongol (they/she) is a comedian from the Pacific Northwest, currently residing in Portland, Oregon. She is a co-creator of Portland’s only queer BIPOC stand up show, House Party. Lindy’s comedy is riddled with dark humor, hot takes, and silly tangents. @lindytongol
Amber Maeda (she/her) is a Hawaii-born, Midwest-raised standup comedian known for her dark humor juxtaposed by her happy-go-lucky delivery. Described by audience members as “unhinged, chaotic”, “my favorite comedian of the night” and “DAMN! I didn’t know Asians had cake like that!” Detroit is now her home where she is highly involved with her local scene as a producer at The Independent Comedy Club, Don’t Tell Comedy: Detroit, and growing her clown repertoire through various shows at Planet Ant Theatre.@ambermaedajoke
