Stand Atlantic are a pop-punk band from Sydney, Australia. Think Paramore's melodic punch meets the raw edge of Neck Deep — emotionally charged, loud, and impossible to ignore. Comastatic started in 2022 in Zurich, Switzerland as a solo project from vocalist Mattia Di Paolo, who soon brought in guitarist Giuliano "Jules" Luongo to complete the duo. The band's name reflects their core vision — a paralyzing equilibrium between life and death, the feeling of being frozen in place while watching the world decay around you. GoOutMx3Not long after forming, the pair headed to Los Angeles to work with producers Stevie Knight, Jon Lundin, and Matt Malpass — names well-known from their work with the likes of Stand Atlantic and Blink-182. Their first independent singles, including Toxic Energy and Fix It All, dropped in 2023. GoOutIn November 2024, Comastatic signed with California-based Hopeless Records, releasing Self Sabotage — featuring Australian band Down and Out — as their label debut. The track was described as a raw look at the tension between outward perfection and inner chaos.
