Stamps: Draw, Transfer, Carve, Create!An easy and fun introduction to block printing!
Learn stamp carving in this hands-on class. Explore design ideas, sketch your image, and transfer it to a soft carving block. Use our carving tools to bring your design to life.
After carving, we will test it using ink pads and make adjustments. Then- stamp on paper and fabric and create! Students will leave with their stamp, prints, a patch, a bookmark and the skills to continue carving at home! Discover the joy of printing by hand.
Cost: YAF members $45. Non-members $50.
All supplies are included. No experience necessary.
Simply call On the Hill Gallery at (757) 369-1108 or stop by the gallery to pay registration and reserve your seat. Gallery hours are Tuesday- Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. Sunday, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Gallery is closed on Mondays.
