The Centaur Subaru Stampede Road Race Kids Race is the perfect way for young runners to be part of race day excitement during Calgary Stampede week. Open to children ages 1–12, the Kids Race takes place on the track in a fun, safe, and energetic atmosphere designed for all ability levels.
Race distances are based on age, giving every child a chance to enjoy the experience at a distance that fits them best. Our oldest group, ages 9–12, will complete three laps around the track as they race toward the finish line cheered on by family and spectators.
Every participant receives:
* A commemorative race t-shirt
* Finisher medal
* Goodie bag
* Delicious Stampede Breakfast after the race
The Kids Race is all about fun, movement, confidence, and creating lasting memories. Whether it’s their very first race or they already love running, kids will enjoy being part of the Centaur Subaru Stampede Road Race tradition.
There is also a discounted rate for under 16 who want to run the 5km or 10km.
