Be part of something powerful right here in our community. The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is one of the largest single-day food drives in the country, and we need your help to make it a success for The Salvation Army | Rock County.We’re looking for about a dozen volunteers to join us!
Volunteers will play a critical role in supporting our pantry by:
• Sorting incoming donations
• Checking expiration dates and quality
• Stocking shelves for distribution
Volunteer Shift:
🕦 11:30 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM
This is a hands-on opportunity to directly impact families in our community facing food insecurity. Your time and energy will help ensure that every donation is ready to serve those who need it most.

How the Food Drive Works:
Residents simply place non-perishable food items by their mailbox, and local mail carriers collect and deliver them to us. From there, it’s our volunteers who help turn those donations into meals for our neighbors.
Most needed items include:
• Canned meats, fruits, and vegetables
• Pasta, rice, and boxed meals
• Peanut butter and cereal
• Shelf-stable milk and juice
