About this Event

Engage with festival visitors, reach a diverse audience and network with other organisations in the Museum of Making's Italian Mill exhibitor space.
Please read the full terms and conditions below before booking; inappropriate bookings that breach the terms below will be cancelled without a refund, and the payment will be deemed a donation.

This is a liberating, award-winning uplifting annual event organised by a non-profit group of volunteers - by the community, for the community; the event brings together local campaigners, public services, charities, unions & support groups, artists, women's enterprise, sports and inspiring role models for a safer, fairer, brighter future for women & girls.

Stallholders say that they benefit from being part of the IWD festival by raising awareness of their services, making new contacts, recruiting staff / volunteers / members, trading, and being associated with a positive event, showing a commitment to gender equality and engaging the diverse communities involved.

As well as the stalls at the festival, there will be celebrations with live performances, HERstory, crafts, activity tasters, film screenings, workshops and family fun. There will also be a march at11am-12pm leading everyone via Cathedral Green and into the Museum for 12pm.

Please select the appropriate stall/ticket type when registering and please note the terms and conditions below which apply to your booking.

Stallholders can arrive from 10am to set up on the day. The stall must be maintained throughout the whole event 12-4pm with no early take-downs; pack-away time is 4-5pm. Stallholders that disrespect these terms, including failing to maintain the stall for the full duration of the event may be excluded from taking part in the future. A woman arriving at 3.40pm deserves her full IWD experience.

The event is free to enter (donations appreciated) for all the community, and all supporters of our inclusive ethos are welcome - all genders, all ages, to help everyone in Derby & Derbyshire to celebrate and renew efforts towards gender equality and women's liberation. We look forward to celebrating with you!
