The Zone boils. Wounded, it lashes out. Like a fevered body purging infection, it hunts the source of its agony, seeking to cauterise the wound with fire and fury. The STALKERS of the Vulture STALKER Syndicate are that infection, and the Zone has no mercy left to offer. As the STALKERS press toward the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant, the air thickens with radiation, each breath more dangerous than the last. Mutated horrors descend upon them with death in their eyes. Anomalies writhe across the landscape, malignant and unpredictable. Deadliest of all, the Monolith’s fanatical cultists mobilise, determined to end the STALKERS’ advance forever. The Zone demands retribution for the missile that reshaped it.
The land itself closes in. Rot chokes the forest and swallows the path forward. Gnarled flora twists skyward from mouldering earth, and the carcasses of mutants and STALKERS alike decay into the mulch below. Desperate for survival, the Zone vomits forth nightmare after nightmare, struggling to restore balance in the wake of devastation.
Yet every STALKER knows one truth. Where danger thrives, fortune follows. Artifacts lie where anomalies burn brightest. Relics of the old world lie buried beneath ash and dust. Mutants carry scavenged remnants of long-forgotten lives. The Monolith fields its most zealous, well-armed warriors.
The storm gathers.
Will the STALKERS endure once more?
Will the Monolith succeed in defending their sacred wasteland?
Or will the Zone consume them all and use their remains to mend its shattered soul?
