The start is on Pemberton Ave, at the end of the road north of Marine Drive.This is a little loop to get your blood pumping. Run it as many times as you feel like. You have 2 hours. If you puke, you're out.
We'll run in a clockwise direction, so we don't bunch up on the stairs. Start and finish is at the north end of Pemberton Rd. The loop is just under 1 km.
Stairs
- Up route. There are 204 stairs to climb. They are evenly spaced and made of concrete
- Down route. There are 167 stairs to descend. They are not evenly spaced and are made of wood.
All current Club Fat Ass members are welcome to participate for free. Bring your kids, but best to leave the dog at home because the stairs are fairly narrow.
Come for a coffee afterwards at Bean Around the World at 1575 Pemberton Ave, and meet your CFA friends. Or better still, we can go to the new Beva Brewing Company at 1405 Pemberton Ave for a pint at 12 noon 🙂
