A Free Orienteering opportunity being offered to learn the basic skills of Orienteering during the October Holiday Week.
The session shall last approximately 1 hour and is suitable for those of Primary 5 age plus, however, there is no upper age limit. Adults are most welcome.
Sessions shall begin with a 10 min briefing/introduction to be followed by the opportunity to participate in a variety of short length courses in a confined area to practice the basic skills of symbol interpretation and setting the map by land features/reference to 'Magnetic North'.
It is FREE to participate as the costs involved are being covered from STAG's Club Development fund. But please Pre-Register by October 9th using the google form linked in the 'Ticket' line above.
