Stagecraft & Critical Thinking Workshop for Youth

In-Person workshop most Mondays and Thursdays in November and December

Location:

• The Community Room, TPL Annette Branch is Office space
• Washroom next door
• Wheelchair accessible via Lift
• I rented from Toronto Public Library, visit them online for building specifications
• Workshop start time is 4:00 pm
• Access to the room is 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm
• Annette library closes at 8:30 pm on workshop dates
• Workshop small equipment available every class, with sufficient paper, ink/toner stock

Wardrobe:

• Set up is Easy
• Intended uses: change room, dark room for visual arts, phone booth for parent calls,

Back Drop & Light Studio:

• Set up is Medium
• Intended uses: lighting concepts, phone apps, green screen
• Item for topic "Events/Pipe and Drape"

Rolling Rack:

• Set up is Hard
• Reading the instructions is a must
• Intended uses: wheels (casters) this rack is also transport

Breaking down "Adulting Essentials" like a script

• Exercising existing Hard Skills
• Staging teachable moments together in a safe space
• Creating participant driven stagecraft projects
