Stacy Peardot-Goudy has been doing agility for over 30 years! She has been in this sport since its inception, she has written books, created training DVD’s, taught 1000’s of seminars, classes and workshops all over the US and the World.
In 2023 Stacy was awarded the prestigious USDAA Pioneer of Agility for her contributions to the development of the sport of dog agility which has had lasting significance. Stacy has competed at the highest levels of agility with many dogs, she has competed on the World stage on multiple World teams! Stacy has competed in 100’s of Finals, and, won several! Through all of the changes in agility, one thing has remained the same, a commonsense approach to dog training centered around a build on success philosophy.
Stacy uses positive motivational training practices and a reward- based system shaping what the dog naturally brings to the table into a confident, happy, competitive agility teammate. The modified
K.I.S.S. Principle “Keep it Super Simple” is Stacy’s mantra. No excuses, consistency, clear criteria for the Win!
Seminar TOPICS:
Friday 8am-1pm
THE VERBAL/PHYSICAL CUE
BALANCING ACT:
Communication and timing are the backbone
of agility handling; we need to know how to
more effectively communicate with our canine
teammates by matching the verbal cues with
proper physicality. That will be the focus of this
workshop!! Emphasis will be placed on
appropriate body language. This will be
advanced to master’s level workshop. No
contacts or weave poles.

PUPPIES/FOUNDATION:
Get your puppy off to a great start with body
awareness, shaping, drive and motivation,
handler focus, beginning obstacle
approximations, Flatwork foundations!
Puppies 3 months and up. This seminar is also
good for those who want to revisit foundation
training but it will be geared for puppies.10 working spots
Saturday 8am-12pm
OBSTACLE COMMITMENT:
Yep, just like it says, a workshop dedicated to
training your dogs to commit on cue to
obstacles, stay connected, and, how to make
that happen!! This is an all- level workshop,
jumps only, 9 working spots
Saturday 1pm-5pm
SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO:
A workshop all about trusting your training,
Cueing, Committing, and getting out of dodge!!
This will be an advanced/master’s level
workshop. 9 working spots
Sunday 8am-12 pm
CONNECTION & COMMITMENT:
This workshop will help you learn to focus your
dog on the proper obstacle and commit to it without spinning and avoidance. This is an all-
level workshop. 9 working spots
Sunday 1pm-5pm
YOU CAN GET THERE:
This seminar is works on teaching independent
skills to be able to assign responsibility to your
dog so you and get to the places necessary
from a handling perspective. This will be an
advanced/master’s level workshop.
