The Southwest Wisconsin Cornish Society (SWCS) will host a traditional Pasty Dinner on Sunday, March 8, 2026, to honor the memory of Saint Piran, Patron Saint of Tin Miners, with a celebration that constitutes a national holiday in Cornwall.Members of the local Cornish Society and all who are interested in Cornwall’s broad legacy in the Old Lead Region of Wisconsin will enjoy a lunch of Spinach-Artichoke Bruschetta, Walker House Salad, Saffron Bun, Cornish Beef Pasty (vegetarian & Gluten-free Beef options available), and Figgyhobbin dessert with caramel sauce and real whipped cream at 12:30 p.m. at the Walker House in Mineral Point.
