Spring🍀 🌞 is here again and so is St. Patrick's Day 2026 folks!You are proudly invited by the Patron of event, Honoured Ambassador of Republic of Ireland Ms Séadhna MacHugh to gather on the banks of river Vilnelė to see it turning green at the Republic of Užupis on Saturday, 14th of March!
LIVE on Užupis stage:
- special guests from Ireland Los Paddys

- Kayaks parade with Irish / Lithuanian / Ukrainian flags.
What to expect on Saturday 14th March? 👇
At Užupis bridge:
- sun or rain or snow, live music, green river, smiles and hugs with Irish hats and ginger heads, special offers from Užupio kavinė, Irish wolfhounds and Irish setters;
Later at the bars:
- live music 🎻 and dances, 🏈 Rugby 6 Nations clash Ireland vs Scotland, Irish stew and streams of Guinness, green and black party.

Nota bene:
- The river will be turned green for 20 minutes (it is not possible to say exact time, but expect it between 15.00 and 15.40);
- The dye is non-toxic, biodegradable, and doesn't harm neither flora nor fauna;
- The environmental protection inspectors carried out water sampling in response to reports - no changes or violations were detected;
- Lithuanian Hydrobiologist Society conducted a research and provided methodological recommendations to ensure complete safety for the environment, which we follow while dying the river for a short period of time.
