St Neots Library are hosting a World Book Night event at the Citizen Hub to celebrate all things books and reading! 2026 is the National Year of Reading and we're on a mission to get more people into the joy of reading for pleasure. Our event will begin at 6pm with a sociable drop-in meet and mingle - come chat to us and others about all things books and reading. Haven't read a book in a while? No problem! We're happy to chat about ways to get back into reading and other services the library offers.
Between 7-8pm we'll take part in the #ReadingHour where you can get cosy in the relaxed atmosphere of the Citizen Hub and settle down to read something yourself, or sit back and be read to! We'll be showcasing one of our Read A Little Aloud sessions which is basically Storytime for adults where we read a selection of excerpts from books, poems and articles on a theme - our theme will of course be books and reading!
Free to attend.
